CLOCKWORK IMMORTALITY TOUR IN JAPAN 2019は、2018年12月発売の2ndアルバム『Clockwork Immortality』を携えたLOVEBITES史上最大規模の全国ツアーです。2019年1月12日の大阪公演から2月23日の札幌公演まで全国6都市で開催され、全公演ソールドアウトを受けて3月7日に渋谷CLUB QUATTROで追加公演「EXTRA TIME」が実施されました。なお1月27日のマイナビBLITZ赤坂公演は、後にライブ作品として完全収録・リリースされています。

まとめ

CLOCKWORK IMMORTALITY TOUR IN JAPAN 2019は、本編6公演を通して「Epilogue」「Don't Bite the Dust」「Under the Red Sky」の3曲がアンコールの定番として固定されているのが大きな特徴です。この3曲の並びはツアーを締めくくる鉄板の流れとして、どの会場でも共通していました。

一方で本編の曲順は公演ごとに細かく入れ替わっており、同じ曲を軸にしながらもオープニングやテープ演出の位置が都市によって変化しています。特に札幌公演は序盤3曲の並びが他公演と大きく異なり、ツアー終盤ならではの構成の変化が感じられます。

3月7日の追加公演「EXTRA TIME」は、それまでの6公演とは一線を画す選曲が印象的です。「The Apocalypse」「Mastermind 01」「The Final Collision」に加え、アンコールでは「The Hammer of Wrath」「Liar」といった前作『Awakening from Abyss』収録曲も披露され、本編6公演では聴けなかった楽曲が並びました。

1月27日のマイナビBLITZ赤坂公演は後にライブ作品として完全収録されており、ツアーの中でも特に記録性の高い一夜となりました。全7公演を通じて『Clockwork Immortality』と『Awakening from Abyss』の楽曲をバランスよく織り交ぜた、当時のLOVEBITESの勢いを象徴するセットリストだといえます。
